Action In Mind - Age In Mind

Our production unit were contracted by Action in Mind to produce a series of four documentaries portraying the lives of specially selected participants from their 'Change Networks' project. This is an initiative which takes an innovative approach to reducing stigma and discrimination against older people with mental health needs across Scotland.

  • Change networks bring people together to share and develop new initiatives of how to tackle mental health stigma and discrimination in order to improve the overall health and well-being of people living with mental ill-health.

  • A change network can be geographical or thematic. It can include health and social care professionals, third sector representatives etc. but it differs from other 'Co-production' methods in that it must include at least fifty per cent of people living with mental ill-health in its membership.

  • Networks will develop in ways which work best for the people who are members and for maximum impact.
